8/14/20 - This is an M1 Carbine from 1943 that was produced by National Postal Meter, which produced about 6.8% of total M1 Carbines. This one has scarce 'U' code receiver, indicating it was produced by Union Switch & Signal. About 60,000 of the 400,000+ carbines produced by NPM have this code. A full parts guide is included in the photos of this listing, but the rifle is in excellent condition with crisply marked NPM stock. Bore is mint and functionality is smooth.
