Description
5/20/26 - This is a very nice example of a scarce, early Spanish Astra Model 600/43 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen D20" Nazi military acceptance proof on the right side of the frame. The gun was part of the first contract delivered to the Nazi military on July 16, 1944, along with 2,500 other guns. It comes as a rig with two magazines (one is numbered but doesn't match the gun) and an excellent 1944-dated and waffen-proofed holster. The gun has retained about 96% of its original bluing with very minor high edge wear, minor dulling on the grip straps, and a series of small dings on the back edge of the slide. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips - minor bruising on the right side. The rifling in the bore is noticeably worn with obvious pitting throughout.
