Description

12/4/23 - This is a nice example of a G98/40 that was used by the German Army during WW2. When Germany occupied Hungary, they converted the manufacturing lines of Hungarian 35m to rifles chambered in 8mm Mauser. The rifle has a Mannlicher action but with K98k features. The metal finish on the rifle retains most of its original bluing but plenty of wear throughout. The bore is fully frosted over but has good rifling. The stock has been sanded lightly and the marks are still slightly visible. The rifle is mismatched throughout. Comes with a dark Mauser K98k style sling.
