Description

12/22/21 - This is an original and correct Steyr Hahn M1912 that was reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2. The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm.  They were stamped '08' to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L. The finish on this one rates at maybe 85%, with the most notable area of wear on the front strap. There are also areas of pinpricking on the slide and frame, and areas of surface oxidation. Good bore with strong rifling. Excellent grips with no chips or cracks.
