Description

11/11/20 - This is an original Walther P.38 Rig issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. The rig comes with a period "P.38 U" magazine and a very nice 1944-dated softshell holster. The gun is fully functional, including the de-cocker. It has retained the slight majority of its finish, about 65%. There is thinning throughout and wear along most of the high edges. There is patina and spotty oxidation throughout. There are areas of freckling throughout, most noticeable on the right side of the gun and on the front strap. It comes with excellent grips. The bore has strong rifling, but there are areas of light freckling in the grooves.
