Description

4/20/17 - This is a near-mint Colt 1911, manufactured in 1944.  The original finish rates at about 98+%, with a little wear on both sides of the slide near the muzzle.  It is all correct and original, with proper proofing found throughout.  P proofs on frame and slide, GHD inspector's mark, and crossed cannons cartouche.  Magazine is marked C-R on bottom of lip, and the original plastic checkered grips are in excellent condition.  Bore is excellent, with no frosting or pits.  Barrel is correctly marked (Colt .45 auto, S).
