Description
2/19/26- For sale is a Nepalese made Gurkha Brunswick bayonet. These bayonets were made for the Brunswick rifle used by the British from the 1830s to the 1850s. The bayonet has a Nepalese lion on the guard, indicating it came from the Nepalese Gurkha troops that lived under British rule during the time. The bayonet is entirely made of steel, including the blade, guard, and handle. There is patina and some light spots of rust on the blade, including a few chips towards the end of the blade. The guard has an engraved lion pattern, along with a geometric design down the finger guard. The handle has more patina and rust spots but no serious damage. The button to latch and unlatch the bayonet is intact and functional. Overall in fair condition.
