Description
7/22/26 - This is a nice example of a 1941 Luger holster that was manufactured by GJ Ensink & Co. under the maker code "dtu". The back of the holster bears the maker code "dtu.41" which designated the maker and the year, and above that stamp is the WaA163 Waffenamt inspection proof. Though it is faint, you can still see a clear "P.08" stamp on the right side of the back of the holster. The leather on this holster is in good shape, though it does have some surface cracks on the front of the holster. There is no penetration through the leather and it remains sturdy yet pliable throughout the holster. There is some light finish loss on the high edges of the holster, though very little color loss. The front strap shows significant finish wear, but is still fully functional with no rips or tears. There is a small (~.25") cut in the top flap of the Luger tool pouch, though this does not affect the functionality. The stitching on this holster is in great shape. There are no missing stitches and no signs of any pulling or tearing.
