Nice 1945 Mauser (byf) K98k - Semi-Kriegsmodell

1/30/25 - For sale is a Mauser K98k made in 1945 and is in a semi-Kriegsmodell configuration. This rifle is in good condition with the metal retaining a nice blue finish throughout with minor spots of wear. The stock is well worn but is free of any cracks or breaks. The stock is not drilled for a cleaning rod and does not have the typical takedown disk as is normal for Semi-Kriegsmodells. The rifle has a mix of mid war and late war parts like a midwar front barrel band and a late war rear barrel band with the screw hole. The bands are still held in place by a leaf spring. The bolt has a phosphate finish. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver and the bolt assembly. The stock is not numbered. The bore is somewhat bright but there is pitting visible 2 inches from the muzzle. A "55" was stamped on the left side of the stock which was likely done post war.
