Nice A.C. Co Model 1917 US trench Knife -

6/19/25 - For sale is a nice condition, all-original US M1917 Trench Fighting Knife by A.C. Co. The knife comes with an original scabbard that's in great condition. This example features a nice black triangular shaped blade with factory finish mostly intact throughout each side. Minimal surface patina and clean edges throughout. Minor scabbard rub wear and natural thinning near the tip. The inside of the hand guard is maker stamped and dated. There's plenty of patina and pockets of ols surface oxidation. The wood handle is clean and in great shape with no cracks or chips. The scabbard is marked with "HE" inspector stamp on the mouth piece and "MS" on the metal sleeve and toe. All original rivets intact and a fairly clean olive green leather body. The leather still shows the original maker stamp, "JEWELL 1918" and all original stitching intact along the seam. The leather has shrunken and the metal cap has a slight wobble.
