9/22/26 - Here we have an original military style WW1- Era C96 Harness. These were designed to carry the C96 pistol within its wooden stock case. This particular example was manufactured by Wilhelm Knoll in 1916. There is an exceptionally clean maker's mark stamped into the back of the holster. The leather is in very good condition for its age. There is some wear and cracking over edges and flaps in the leather. There is also a bit of wrinkling on the back of the holster as well. Finally, there are a few pin prick holes in the bottom of the cleaning rod pouch.
