Description
9/19/25 - For sale is a Colt Model SP1 made in 1965. The rifle has many of the earlier features. The receiver has a lightly worn parkerized finish with slight discoloration on areas that are frequently in contact with the shooter's hands. The plastic furniture is original and shows light wear. The barrel is bright with strong rifling. The barrel is stamped with a 12 on the bottom towards the muzzle, and an M and triangle proof on the right side between the front base rings. The right side of the receiver is marked with a plus sign and the triangle proof in front of the ejection port. The recoil buffer is a correct 2-piece. The bolt head is marked with a P and M. Other early features include the 3-prong flash hider and no trapdoor buttplate.
