Description
2/9/26 - For sale is a French Lebel MLE 1886 / M93 originally produced for WW1 and was one of the rifles used by the French Army. The rifle had been rebuilt during the interwar period in 1935. The rifle retains a very nice bluing on the receiver and barrel but there are plenty of edge wear throughout. The stock and forestock are in good condition without any cracks or breaks. The only blemish to note is a deep scratch on the left side of the wrist area of the stock, and there are 3 spots of arsenal repairs on the forestock. The bore is bright but does get dark towards the muzzle with a ring of pitting visible about 1.5" from the muzzle. The rife is bolt mismatched. The rifle comes with a brown leather sling.
