3/4/25 - For sale is a pre-war K98k made by Mauser-Werke in 1938. The rifle is in great condition, surviving the war and the metal retains a slightly shiny blued finish. There is notable edge wear with occasional dotting of oxidation. The stock is in great shape, but there is a split on the handguard from being dry. The bore is bright with strong rifling but there is shallow micropitting visible near the muzzle. The rifle has nearly matching numbers except the cocking sleeve and cocking piece.
