09/03/26 - For sale is a nice Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor made in 1889. The rifle is in great shape for its age. There is a light layer of patina and tarnish over the metal. The bluing has worn away to bare metal. The stock is in great shape but has been lightly sanded. The Inspector stamp is faint. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling, but there are prickling of corrosion throughout. Action functions properly.
