Description
8/10/26 - This is a nice example of a WWII-era 1911 magazine manufactured by Risdon. The finish on this magazine shows some light wear from use, primarily from what appears to be inserting and ejecting the magazine from a firearm. Most finish loss exists as high-edge wear and some linear striations along the length of the magazine. The baseplate on this 1911 magazine shows the proper "C-R" stamp on the bottom towards the front of the magazine, along with the expected "R" on the toe. The follower has smooth travel with strong recoil. Overall a nice, mechanically sound magazine.
