Description

8/4/20 - This is an early 1878 Double Action Colt made in 1881, with original nickel finish. Antique so no license required. It has the desirable 4.75 inch barrel and comes in .45 caliber. The gun has excellent original grips. The nickel finish is better than most but still has worn away in just a few spots as can be seen in the photos. The hammer, trigger and screws/pins still have lots of blue finish to them. The action is very tight and timing is excellent. Also has a very good bore. Overall a very good shooter which is also an excellent collector grade Colt that was made in the 3rd year of production. We did not get a letter but it is factory nickeled.
