Description
10/6/26 - This is a very nice example of a factory-nickeled, engraved Walther Model 9, chambered in 6.35mm or .25 ACP. It is a Type 2 variation based on its serial number, made between 1924 and 1934. Both sides of the slide feature floral and filigree engraving patterns. The factory nickel finish rates about 95%, with just some minor flaking and small spots of oxidation, mostly toward the front half of the slide and barrel. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with a proper nickeled magazine. The bore has decent rifling with some light pin-pricking throughout. An attractive engraved vest pocket pistol that displays beautifully.
