Description
9/10/26 - This is a very nice example of a 2nd Model Smith & Wesson DA Top-break revolver, chambered in .38 S&W and manufactured in 1880-1884. Five shot fluted cylinder, pinned three inch barrel, round butt, pinned round front sight, notch on the barrel latch serves as rear sight. This one features detailed floral/filigree engraving throughout and has a nickeled finish. Fitted with beautiful mother-of-pearl grips. The gun has retained about 94% of its finish with just a few small areas of oxidation here and there and an area of flaking on the inside of the trigger guard. The bore has great rifling, but there is spotty oxidation and minor pitting throughout. Fully functional. No FFL required.
