Description
3/31/26 - This is a nice example of a Universal Double Action Revolver, chambered in .38 Caliber and most likely manufactured in the early 1900's. The top strap reads "UNIVERSAL DOUBLE ACTION" and "Pat. Mar. 28. 71 Jan. 5. 84, 38 Cal. Centre Fire". It has a nickeled finish that rates roughly 75-80%. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps and right side of the frame. Areas of noticeable brown patina in the same areas and on the underside of the trigger guard. There are some textured scratches on the barrel and on the left side of the frame in front of the cylinder. Fitted with hard rubber grips - chip on the bottom edge of the right panel. Very nice bore with great rifling.
