Description

11/1/18 - This is a highly desirable Type II M1-A1 Paratrooper Carbine from 1943. Correct serial range for a type II, made in December of '43. Correct high wood stock with light cartouche on right side grip. Interior of stock is marked IO with flaming bomb. Handguard also correctly marked. Stock is in great condition with minor dings and handling wear but no cracks or chips. Receiver and barrel show only very minor handling/rub wear. Original flip site with no signs of staking. Original barrel band with no evidence of a bayo lug ever being on the gun. Leather cheek pad and folding stock is original and in excellent shape. Comes with 1943 dated magazine pouch and a WW2 cotton sling. 'U' marked magazine. Excellent bore.
