Original ZF 4 Scope with Reproduction Mount

9/24/25 - This is an original WW2 German ZF 4 Scope manufactured by Voigtlander & Sohn in 1944. The scope is marked with the maker's code "ddx" along with the serial number (64857), model designation "GW ZF4", and a triangle with hints of blue under very bright lighting, indicating this example was treated with mercury and calibrated for use in cold weather climates. Optics are mostly excellent, but there is some very light cloudiness along the outer perimeter which does not affect the clarity of the reticle. Overall visibility rates 95+%. Externally the scope is in great condition, but there are some handling marks, surface scuffing, and mild patina/finish loss here and there, mostly concentrated to the outer ends past where the scope rings are mounted. Functional adjustment knobs, though the windage knob cover is very slightly bent, it fits well and turns easily.  The scope is paired with a high quality reproduction mount and mounting hardware. Functional locking mechanism. The mount rings and screws are clean. Also comes with reproduction leather scope cover and rubber eyecup.
