11/25/25 - This is a very nice example of an all-phosphate Mauser HSC made at the very end of WW2, in 1945. This one has an all phosphate finish with no proofs. This gun is either a rare late-war commercial gun or a gun that was in the factory at the end of the war and was never issued to the military. No French proofs. The nature of the phosphate makes the finish very difficult to rate, but we estimate it has retained 97%. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some spotty discoloration on the left side of the slide (typical for these finishes). Fitted with excellent wood grips and comes with a proper half-moon magazine. Like-new bore.
