Description
4/15/26- For sale is a post-war Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife. These knives were made famous by British Commandos in WW2. The blade is blued with sharpened edges and a good point. The underside of the crossguard is marked "Sheffield England", a marking usually applied by post-war manufacturers to allow for international export. The grip is painted metal with loss of paint across the high edges and ridges. The scabbard is leather with a metal tip guard which has lost most of its paint. There is a strap to hold the handle to the frog, another indication of post-war manufacture. Overall in very good condition.
