Description

6/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 that was put together from parts after WW2 and issued to the French security services. They were then imported to the US by Interarms. This one comes with an original matching Interarms box and owners manual. The gun is all matching, has one Waffen proof on the right side of the slide, and a French star in the same area. Import mark on the underside of the slide. It has a rare FN slide and an all-phosphate finish. The nature of this finish is difficult to rate, but our best guess is about 90% retention. There is minor thinning on the front strap and barrel and spotty wear along both sides of the slide. Areas of spotty dark discoloration here and there. Comes with nice post-war French grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
