Description
2/25/26 - This is a near mint example of a pre-WW2 Smith & Wesson .38/44 Outdoorsman revolver from roughly 1937. This Outdoorsman is all-matching with the barrel, yoke, star ejector, and grip panel all matching the frame. This revolver has retained nearly 98+% of its original blue finish, with a couple tiny bits of pinpricking on the frame. The firearm also shows light muzzle wear and hints of high-edge wear. There is also a light turn line on the cylinder and despite no real finish loss, there are a few light surface scratches on the right side of the frame. This S&W is fitted with the original, serialized wood grip panels. This firearm has adjustable target sights, a serrated trigger, and serrated front and backstrap, which is commonly found on S&W Target models. This 6.5" barrel has a bright, mirrored bore. Mechanically sound with proper lock-up and timing.
