9/30/26 - This is a minty example of a Walther PP rig issued to the Nazi Railway Police in 1940. The slide has the issue date "1940" stamped on the left side and the serial number added to the right side, both characteristics unique to the Railway Police variation. Unfortunately, the slide is mismatched to the frame. The frame is an earlier commercial variant from 1938. It also comes with a rare numbered railway-contract magazine (mismatched to the gun). It has retained nearly all of its finish with just a hint of muzzle wear and a small area of very light wear at the left front of the slide. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips - the left side has a chip along the top edge. Mint bore.
