Description
07/02/26 - For sale is a Ramshorn LLC reproduction of a 2nd pattern Maynard Carbine. These carbines were originally produced during the US Civil War and used by the cavalry. These reproductions were made primarily for reenactors but can still fire a live cartridge. The receiver and chamber have a plum finish, while the barrel has a blued finish. The right side of the barrel shows some finish loss from some kind of chemical. The right side of the receiver also has a finish loss. The surface has freckles of oxidation and spotting of corrosion. The stock is clean without any breaks. The bore is bright with good rifling but there are patches of corrosion from black powder usage. Action functions properly.
