04/09/2024 - For sale is a rare, Civil War era Maynard 2nd Model Carbine. These carbines were used by the 9th and 11th Indiana cavalry regiments and 11th Regiment Tennessee Volunteer Cavalry. The carbine is in great condition overall with no major blemishes. The barrel has a nice bluing with some finish loss and the receiver is case hardened but worn. The bore is excellent and very bright. The cartouches on the stock are sharp and visible. The stock is in good condition and free of cracks.
