11/25/25 - This is a rare Artillery Luger, made by Erfurt in 1914. Erfurt produced only 23,000 Artillery Lugers, all in 1914. This one is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs and Erfurt proofs throughout. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of the actual finish loss is along the barrel, on the side plate, and around the high edges. There is noticeable brown patina on the grip straps, areas of spotty oxidation (most noticeable along the barrel), and some areas of minor pitting mostly on the left side of the frame and on the back strap. Fitted with matching-numbered and Erfurt-proofed grips. Comes with a mismatched but Erfurt-proofed magazine. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with pin-pricking throughout.
