Description
6/5/26 - This is a rare, early Nazi Mauser Luger from 1934 with K date code over chamber. There were only 10,000 of these Lugers produced. It is mostly matching, but the trigger, rear toggle pin, and firing pin are mismatched. It has the proper "S" stamps and "O37" military acceptance proofs. The front sight blade is replaced. The slide has been heavily modified - it has been obviously ground on the right side with a channel cut into it, and the "K" on the chamber has been buffed off. We have never seen such a modification, and we have no idea what purpose it serves. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - small chip on the left side. It comes with a later-WW2 magazine. The gun has lost nearly all of its bluing with obvious finish loss throughout. There are areas of noticeable pitting, mostly on the left side of the frame, on the side plate, around the muzzle, and on the right side rail. The bore has pretty good rifling with minor frosting throughout.
