Description
2/25/26 - This is a rare example of a 1937 Commercial Mauser P.08 Luger. These commercial Lugers were often referred to as banner Lugers due to the full 'Mauser' banner marked on the top of the toggle. This Luger is all-matching, including all of the correct small parts and both grip panels. This Mauser, complete with the period-correct Crown/U proofs, has retained roughly 85% of its finish. There is high-edge wear, primarily on the left and right slide rail, as well as the side plate. There is thinning on the front and back strap, with an area of light corrosion towards the bottom of the back strap. There is also a scrape on the right slide rail just about the trigger well, and some corrosion just below that scrape. There is finish loss covering most of the exposed barrel. This P.08 comes fitted with the original wood panel grip plates, both serialized to the gun, and neither showing any signs of cracks or chips. The bore on this bright with strong rifling, and a minor hint of frost. Especially rare variation chambered for .30 Luger. This Luger comes with a matching-numbered magazine.
