Description
7/15/26 - This is a very nice example of a rare 1938 Kriegsmarine Mauser S/42 code Luger with an 'O.3654' property mark on the front strap. It is all matching and comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered Navy magazines, an "Eagle 63" tool, and an excellent "Eagle M" Navy-marked black leather holster. This particular gun is listed on Pages 215-216 in Hallock's "The Mauser Parabellum" Book. However, it is listed twice as serial number "578m" with property mark "O.3654". On the gun itself, the suffix is clearly an "n". So we're confident this is likely a typo in the book. The gun itself has retained about 91-92% of its original bluing with minor thinning and brown patina on the grip straps, very minor high edge/muzzle wear, and a couple of spots of discoloration on the left side of the frame. Fitted with minty un-numbered wood grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
