Description

6/26/20 - This is a very nice example of a scarce Kriegsmarine Mauser Luger rig, which includes Navy marked holster and a Weimar eagle marked tool. There were only 2,400 Navy Mauser Lugers produced in 1938, and there were only about 6,000 Kriegsmarine Mauser Lugers ever marked as such. The pistol is all matching numbers, including the right grip panel but the left is not numbere. The pistol shows notable thinning on the straps and the edges of the profile. There's also several areas of surface freckling. The holster is 1939 dated with the rare Kriegsmarine Eagle/M marking. It's in excellent condition and has no notable defects. The rig includes a tool with Weimar era eagle marking. Bore is shiny with good rifling but does have some freckling throughout.
