Description
4/14/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. The gun is all matching, has the Mauser banner logo on the toggle, has an added police sear safety, and a police "Eagle C" marking on the right side of the slide. This gun is rare as only about 2,850 of this variation were ever produced. It comes as a rig with two original matching-numbered magazines, "Eagle/C" marked tool, and a tan leather 1939-dated police holster. The gun has retained about 94% of its original bluing. There is high edge wear, muzzle wear, a few small dots of discoloration on the side plate, and a small area on the right side of the slide (around the police marking) with minor finish loss and a few small pits. Fitted with mint un-numbered wood grips. The bore is generally shiny with strong rifling, but there are a few small dots of oxidation here and there.
