Description
2/11/26 - This is a rare example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1940. It has a rare "CSR" inspection stamp on the frame - less than 5,000 of this variation made. The slide is numbered and matching, and the barrel is a correct Colt barrel with a "G" under the lug. The gun has been completely re-blued, so there is very little actual finish loss - just some very minor wear on the grip safety. Fitted with correct wood grips and comes with a replacement magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable scratching throughout.
