Description
5/14/26 - This is a minty example of a rare Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1940. It has a rare "CSR" inspection stamp on the frame - less than 5,000 of this variation made. The slide is numbered but mismatched, #717520. It has an "HS" High Standard barrel - the chamber has been buffed and numbered to the match the gun. There is a star marking on the top of the slide and a "B" marking on the right side of the frame - we're not sure of the significance. The barrel bushing has been replaced. The gun's bluing rates about 98% with just very minor muzzle wear and some light surface scratches here and there. Fitted with reddish plastic grips and comes with a two-tone magazine. Mint bore.
