Description
7/14/26 - This is a very nice example of a rare Mauser Luger issued to the Kriegsmarine in 1940. The gun is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide, and has a "N 1920" Navy property marking on the back strap. It comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered Navy magazine, an "Eagle 655" tool, and a rare 1939-dated and "Eagle M" Navy proofed holster (there is a leather reinforcement around the toe). The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is thinning and light brown patina, but there is also general high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with matching-numbered and "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is some minor frosting in the grooves.
