SOLD - Rare 1940 Navy Mauser Luger Rig - Matching Magazine

6/17/20 - This is a very nice example of a scarce and complete Kriegsmarine Mauser Luger rig, which includes Navy marked holster and one of the original, matching magazines. There were only 2,000 Navy Mauser Lugers produced in 1940, and there were only about 6,000 Kriegsmarine Mauser Lugers ever marked as such. The pistol is all matching numbers, including the one magazine. The magazine matches with both factory serial and Nortsee property number. The grips are E/655 proofed and unnumbered. The profile view is excellent with standard high edge wear but most of the finish loss is on the rear strap. Terrific bore. The holster is 1939 dated with the rare Kriegsmarine Eagle/M marking. It's in minty condition and one of the finest we've encountered. Rig also includes a spare Navy magazine that is mismatched but rare nonetheless. Original tool with E/655 completes the grouping.
