1/13/21 - This an excellent example of a rare Colt Model 1911A1 complete rig issued to the US Military in 1941. What makes this one special is the "WB" inspector proof on this gun. There are only a couple of thousand guns made in 1941 with this inspector marking. The gun comes with a minty 1942-dated holster, original canvas belt, and 1942-dated canvas magazine pouch. The gun has the proper military cross canon cartouche. The slide is numbered and matching. The gun has retained about 92-94% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle, high edges of the slide, and spotty wear on the front strap. There are some light handling marks here and there. There is some minor spotty oxidation on the front strap and right side of the gun. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. It comes with excellent grips and one proper magazine.
