Description

7/7/23 - This is a rare and desirable Luger variation - the 1941/42 Mauser Luger. Only about 7,000 made, making them even rarer than the K date Luger. This one is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 655" Nazi military proofs. The grips are matching with only a number '3' on each, but the first digit was seemingly scraped away on both panels. The original blue on the pistol rates at about 92% with bluing loss on the side plate, muzzle and other high edges. There's also a small patch of pitting on the underside of the barrel. Terrific grips show no notable wear or defect. The magazine is a period original but mismatched example. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but a little frost in the grooves.
