Description
7/17/26 - This is a rare, late-war AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. This one has a rare "Waffen 76" marked barrel, indicating it was made at the Czech FNH factory. There are two variations of these guns with Czech barrels, AC 44 and AC 45. The AC 44 variation is rarer, as only about 3,000 were made as opposed to the 5,000 AC 45's. It has retained roughly 75% of its original finish with obvious wear and spotty discoloration along the barrel and noticeable finish loss on the top plate. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips and comes with an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
