Description
5/1/25 - This is an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. This one also has a rare eagle proof on the left side of the trigger guard, similar to the test eagle proofs found on early Mauser HSC's. It comes with one period-correct Walther magazine. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are excellent. There is just minor wear at the very front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A couple of small spots of discoloration on the left side of the slide. A few very light surface scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish grips. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.
