Description

3/3/23 - This is a Walther ac 44, with rare test eagle on the trigger guard.  These stick-wing eagle proofs are similar to the test proofs found on early Mauser HSc's, though it is not known exactly why a small selection of P.38's received these markings.  This pistol has about 95% original finish, with a very nice slide, plum colored frame, and a thinner gray front strap.  Beautiful set of reddish grips.  Very nice bore, with no pitting or frosting.
