Rare Artillery Luger Snail Drum Magazine Pouch

4/29/25 - This is an excellent example of a rare artillery Luger snail drum magazine pouch, manufactured in 1917, and issued to the German military during World War I. The interior flap is clearly maker marked and dated. Constructed from heavy-duty canvas with leather straps and buckles, this pouch remains in excellent overall condition. All original stitching is intact, with just a couple of loose threads visible on the left side, a minor cosmetic issue that does not affect structure or function. The leather shows minor age-related wrinkling and wear, consistent with careful field use. The exterior canvas has mild aging and darkening in a few areas.
