SOLD - Rare Bergmann Model 1910/21 Rig - Two Matching Mags - Danish Air Force

12/11/19 - This is a superb and complete example of a Bergmann Bayard 1910/21 Danish Air Force contract pistol rig.  The rig is complete with both of the original, matching magazines, as well as the original holster which is internally numbered and matching to the pistol. The holster and pistol feature a proof that is seen in four separate places, but we could not find information or history on. The inner flap of the holster says "Haerens Flyvetropper", which translates to Army Flying Troops in Danish, so this appears to be part of a very small Danish Air Force order. The gun has 97-98% of the original blue, with just minor high edge wear on muzzle and rails. The original grips are present and show only minor handling wear. Minty bore shows hardly any use. Original holster with Danish crown proofs shows some age and cracking but is in pretty nice shape overall. The early Danish contract guns were made in Belgium by Pieper, before the production started at the Danish military arsenals. The Belgian-made examples are considerably less common than the Danish counterparts, and this one appears to be especially rare given the Air Force ties.
