SOLD - Rare Bolivian DWM Luger Rig

12/4/20 - This is an excellent example of a potentially very rare DWM Luger P.08 delivered to Bolivia. Less than 200 of these lugers were delivered to Bolivia. This particular example has a Bolivian crest unlike other examples. The crest is crisp and detailed, appearing professionally or factory applied. But as it isn't a documented variation, we can't state for certain that it's original. It is all matching numbers. It also has the early "BUG" proofs on the underside of the barrel. The gun is excellent, retaining around 97-98% of its bluing and straw-colored finish. There is very minor wear on the side plate and front strap. Very minor pin-pricking on both straps. Unfortunately, there is a very small import mark on the frame. It comes with a beautiful period-correct custom-made case, original cleaning rod with oiler, and a post-war luger tool. It comes with three magazines: one is unmarked and correct for this gun. The other two are numbered WW1-era magazines. The slide does not stay back when cocked with any of the magazines. The grips are excellent. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
