Description
4/12/21 - This is an excellent example of an extremely rare DWM Model 1906 shipped to the Bulgarian government. It is matching and has the Bulgarian Crest on the chamber. As referenced in Jan Still's Central Powers Pistols, there were only about 1,500 of these produced, with serials from 1-1500. Compare that to the 1908 Bulgarian, which total 10,000! This one is in near mint condition, but we believe it was professionally restored. As a result, the finish is bright and beautiful and the small parts have vibrant straw-coloring. It has retained about 99% of its bluing with a few very minor dings on the front strap. The grips are excellent. The right panel is matching and the left one is numbered "19" - could just be a mistake. The gun also comes with a matching-numbered wood-bottom magazine. The bore is very nice - strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
