Description
8/25/26 - This is a nice example of a rare "Ku" prefix Luger. The historical significance of these pistols is still largely debated in the collector community, but the general belief is that these are Lugers put together by Krieghoff using leftover parts. This one has some mismatched small parts, has the proper "Ku" serial suffix, and has the distinctive Luftwaffe markings on the barrel and right side of the slide. The side plate is a "42" marked armorers replacement. The gun is of the BYF 41 variation. It has what we believe to be an old re-blued finish. There is a small area of wear on the side plate, small scratches and handling marks here and there, and a small dent in the metal on the left side of the frame. Fitted with excellent blonde wood grips - matching-numbered to each other but mismatched to the gun. Comes with a blank fxo magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable freckling throughout.
