Description
2/10/26 - This is a rare and desirable Mauser C96 Carbine from 1897. It is an antique, so no FFL is required. It has the characteristic 16 inch barrel, large ring hammer, a wooden shoulder stock, and a wood foregrip. The number on the barrel of this one is mismatched to the rest of the gun. The entire gun features a beautiful and intricate Germanic oak leaf and acorn engraving pattern throughout. The name "Michael Van Winkle" is engraved on the magazine plate. The stock has a gorgeous real ivory butt plate. The gun comes with a really nice wood presentation case, a cleaning rod (the handle is made of real ivory), two nickel-plated bottles, 42 rounds of ammo, and a few stripper clips. The gun has retained most of its bluing. There is just very minor wear around the stock lug and a few small spots of surface oxidation along the barrel. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
